About Me

As a graduate of the University of Massachusetts (Amherst) in Journalism/English, I spent my early years as a journalist before pursuing a degree in accounting at the University of North Carolina.

With twenty plus years of experience in public accounting and government finance,  I spent more than ten years working as an auditor and tax preparer for public accounting firms in North Carolina, Minnesota and Maine before accepting a position as the Town of Yarmouth’s first Finance Director. In this position I was responsible for overseeing the Town’s Finance, Technology, Human Resource and Risk Management needs.

I am a 2008 graduate of the Institute for Civic Leadership and a member of the Maine Association of Professional Accountants. I also serve as Treasurer for Trout Unlimited (Sebago Chapter) and Fly Fishing in Maine. In addition, I provide pro bono services for Yarmouth Senior Housing (Bartlett Circle).
